Data Collection

AI Writer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or user content.

All text you select or input is sent directly from your browser or device to the API provider you configure (DeepSeek, OpenAI, or your own custom endpoint). No third-party servers controlled by AI Writer are involved in processing your text.

Data Storage

The only data stored locally on your device is:

• Your API key (in browser localStorage or a local file)
• Your UI language preference
• Your model name preference

None of this data is sent to AI Writer servers. It remains on your device and is only used to configure API requests.

Third-Party Services

AI Writer integrates with third-party API providers (DeepSeek, OpenAI) that you configure. Please refer to their respective privacy policies:
